VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR MAYOTTE

All travellers will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following your departure date from Mayotte. Travellers from the UK, US, Australia, and the EU do not require a passport for Mayotte if they are visiting for tourist purposes.

Healthcare and Immunisations

It is advised that visitors to Mayotte are up-to-date with primary boosters such as MMR. It is recommended for most travellers to also get a Tetanus, Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccinations.

Although there is no risk of the disease in Mayotte, If you are coming from a country where there is a risk of Yellow Fever, or transiting for longer than 12 hours in an at risk country, you will have to provide a certificate of Yellow Fever vaccination. Check with your local health professional prior to travel if you are unsure.

There is a risk of Malaria in Mayotte, it is recommended to take antimalarials. Dengue, a virus transmitted by mosquito bites, is also an issue in Mayotte, you should take precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
